PCAL Members
Chairperson
The Premier's Council for Active Living (PCAL) is chaired by an independent chairperson, Layne Beachley. Layne is a seven-time ASP Women's World Champion Surfer and the only surfer, male or female to win six consecutive world titles. She has recently retired from professional surfing and is particularly interested in promoting opportunities for people to build active living into their everyday lives. Layne is a spokesperson or ambassador for five charities and runs the Aim for the Stars Foundation, providing financial and moral support to assist girls achieve their dreams in their chosen pursuits including music, science, culture and sport.
