The Green Corridor joins the towns of West Wyalong (pop. 3,191) with its smaller neighbour, Wyalong (pop. 809).

The track starts at the 'Junk Art' sculpture on the highway side of McCann Park in West Wyalong, and heads east to Wyalong, running roughly parallel with the Highway. The course is marked by clusters of decorative timber poles, painted by school children, the elderly and Aboriginal members of the community.

The track journeys past or through several parks with barbecue facilities and play equipment. These include Barnado Park, Holland Park, Northcott Street Park and Cooinda Bushland Reserve. Holland Park in Kurrajong Street, West Wyalong is home to Holland Park Pool where facilities include a 50 metre pool, a baby wading pool, waterslide and inflatables.
