Getting there

Honeysuckle can be reached on foot from the Newcastle city centre via the railway crossing on Merewether Street. The precinct can also be accessed via the foreshore path that runs from East Newcastle and the Esplanade along to the Honeysuckle precinct and beyond. This path has a number of access points from the city, including for example, the footbridges over the rail line at Scott Street and Hunter Street. Honeysuckle is a short walk from both Newcastle and Civic rail stations.
