Project participants

- Fairfield City Council
- ‘Work for the dole’ participants, coordinated by (former) Federal Government Department of Employment, Education and Training (now and Fairfield Community Resource Centre (local non-government organisation).
- Community members (an initial community "call to action" attracted forty residents who attended a project inception workshop. The project is now sustained by WSCN members who contribute their time and skills to the project on a voluntary basis).
- Sydney South West Area Health Service
- Fairfield City Council Hassall Street Recycling Centre (for reuse of building materials).
- Local building contractors (complimentary labour to construct clubhouse)
- Roads and Traffic Authority Bike Week activity funding to increase local awareness of this project and community participation.
- NSW Police – through the Community and Road Education Scheme (CARES) provided cycle safety training to community members and project participants.
- ABC Bikes and Renegade Cycles (assisted with expertise and parts to set up the recycling workshop).
