Description / context
- The WSCN Clubhouse is located within the Fairfield City Showground (a Council owned facility) at the heart of the local cycleway network. It is in close proximity to the Orphans School Creek cycleway, which links to both the Parramatta to Liverpool Rail Trail and the T-way regional cycle route.
- The clubhouse site has high exposure for the community who access the Saturday markets and other community events at the Showground. It also adjoins the Steam Train site within the Showground, helping to attract the interest of children.
- The clubhouse is part of Fairfield City’s Council’s Nalawala Urban Sustainability Hub, sharing a site with a community hall built from straw bales and a Community Native Plant Nursery.
